Hello Everyone,
It's been a busy couple of days since the 'boys' left but we've been having a lot of fun. Monday we went behind the campground (the snow King Mountain Area) which is a 3 minute walk to get to and is a great little hiking trails system. We hiked for about an hour or so to learn the area and then we enjoyed our lunch and went to the pool. How decadent to be sitting relaxing poolside in this beautiful weather. It's amazing how fast you'll burn though being at this higher elevation so you have to be careful!
Eileen and I went to a float trip last evening down a raft on the beautiful Snake River. Our guide was named Forrest (yes as is For

rest Gump!) and was wonderful. We saw HUGE beaver (one with babies!) along the side of the river and their tree work that they've been cutting down was evident all along the side of the river. They grow them big out here in this country! We were also fortunate to see a mother moose with her calf for a while and it was so much fun to watch the baby 'frolicking' along side of her in the bush! That's the only way to describe her behavior since she appeared joyful and acted like a little kid would! We saw eagles, and mule deer and ospreys and simply enjoyed the sensation of floating down the river with the amazing views of the Grand Tetons all around us. It was simply fantastic! We drove home with a beautiful sunset and then settled in after a long day...
Oh! Sounds like my kind of rafting/tubing.
